Middle East Tourism Leads in Growth Since 2019

The Middle East leads all regions globally in its recovery from the pandemic, with international arrivals now 39% above 2019 levels, according to a report by UN Tourism. Nearly 100 million visitors arrived in the region last year, compared to about 71 million back in 2019.

Results for 2025 were more modest, but still healthy, with a 3% gain in international arrivals to the region.
