
Ras Al Khaimah International Airport is aiming to attract airlines from the Far East — particularly China, Hong Kong, Singapore, and Southeast Asia — while also expanding its connections to Europe, the airport’s chairman told Skift.
Currently, the airport mainly serves the GCC, the Indian subcontinent, North Africa, and Eastern Europe through low-cost carriers such as Air Arabia, Indigo and Air India Express, according to Eng. Sheikh Salem bin Sultan bin Saqr Al Qasimi.
