Singaporean investor SC Capital Partners is acquiring Vietnam-based Fusion Hotel Group in a bid to get in on Asia’s booming frontier of hospitality.
Fusion Hotel Group, founded in 2008 and later acquired by Lodgis Hospitality Holdings, is a leading wellness-focused hospitality platform. It has 18 properties in operation, with approximately 3,000 keys across Vietnam and Thailand, and it has also developed and operated branded residences, a rapidly growing segment in Asia Pacific.
SC Capital Partners already counts among its portfolio Hotel Management Japan (HMJ), one of Japan’s largest hotel operators with 26 hotels and over 8,000 keys, and Topotels Hotels & Resorts, the Indonesia-based management company. HMJ also provides white-label management for Hilton, Marriott and IHG. Combined, HMJ, Topotels, and Fusion represent roughly 16,000 keys across four of Asia’s most dynamic growth markets
