Trivago Files Antitrust Lawsuit Against Google, Alleges Ongoing Harm

Germany-based Trivago said it has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Google, alleging ongoing anticompetitive behavior since 2014.

The lawsuit, filed in a Hamburg, Germany regional court, seeks damages and alleged that “Google has been systematically favoring its own hotel metasearch service in its general search results pages.”
