United Airlines said Tuesday it will operate a peak of 750 flights per day out of Chicago O’Hare this summer as competition with American Airlines heats up at the airport.
The flights include nonstop service to 47 international destinations across Europe, Asia, and South America, along with 175 U.S. destinations. United is also adding several new routes to cities in the Midwest out of O’Hare, which also include: Champaign/Urbana and Bloomington-Normal in Illinois; Kalamazoo and Lansing in Michigan; and La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Later in the year, United plans to add more flights to cities like Boston, Nashville, Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Dallas-Fort Worth. For the World Cup, United is also operating daily flights from O’Hare
